Welcome to spiritualcovering.wordpress.com

The purpose of this blog is to address “spiritual covering” as it’s popularly taught in professing Christian circles today, because it is a heresy (false teaching).

False teachings flourish among professing Christians today, because there is a lack of discernment. Discernment is the spiritual ability to judge between truth & error, light & darkness, good & evil. Discernment is so scarce that in the world, the word “Christian” has become synonymous with the word “gullible”, & Christians who use discernment are falsely accused of “casting stones” having a “critical spirit” & being “unloving.” Brethren, this should not be so.

Christians have a responsibility to test all things (1 Thessalonians 5:21). This includes testing the spirits of individuals to see if they are from God (1 John 4:1), & searching the Scriptures to see if a teaching is true (Acts 17:11). Failure to do so makes us easy prey for false prophets & false teachings.

The key to discerning falsehood is knowing The Truth, & The Truth is Jesus Christ (John 14:6). Knowing Christ enables us to discern strangers & flee from them (John 10:4-5). The more we know Christ & His teachings, the better equipped we are to discern false christs & false teachings.

If we obey Christ’s Word, then we are His followers, & we shall KNOW the Truth, & the Truth shall set us free (John 8:31-32). Freedom comes thru Jesus Christ alone. On the other hand, slavery comes thru following anything or anyone other than Christ, & there are many false teachings that encourage this. One of them is the covering heresy.

If you believe in the covering heresy, I hope that you will prayerfully consider the information presented in this blog & repent (publicly if you have taught this heresy openly), & warn anyone that you know who promotes or believes in the covering heresy.

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, & do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” (Galatian 5:1)

Peace & Grace to you
